WELCOME TO ARTISTIC ANTLERS

I thought it would be fitting to give you a brief history of our company and its beginnings. But first, let me introduce myself. My name is Klaus Lebrecht. Many years ago, I started a taxidermy business and went for further instruction from whitetail guru, Joe Meder. It was while I was working with Joe, that I saw some impressive replicas and was introduced to the world of antler reproduction. I inquired as to the name of the manufacturer, as in those days, only a handful of people knew the art. They had been made by Mike Gillis of Brown County, Wisconsin. I then purchased several replicas from Mr. Gilles. In time, I was offered a chance to learn the art of antler reproduction from Mr. Gilles. After his instruction, I returned home and tried to refine some of these techniques. I strove to produce a replica that could not be distinguished from the original. After 6 months of experimenting, breakthroughs were made, especially in the accurate, realistic coloring of the antler. Our unique process of coloring made our antlers in great demand. Soon we were being sought after to replicate great heads like the "Kansas King", "The Hole in the Horn", the "Benson" (done on site at the Lone Star Brewing Company, Texas), "Old Mossy Horns", "The Mel Johnson", and the "Minnesota Monarch". The contract to color "The Breen" and "Jordan Buck" and others came along quickly.
Our cliental list included people like Chuck Arnold, Gale Sup, Larry Huffman, Brad Gsell, and corporations like Bass Pro, Cabella's, NRA, and the National Turkey Federation. We also received the contract for all the taxidermy and replica work for Whitetail World. I was truly blessed with a flood of work.
My business at that time was called "Awesome Antlers". After several years of cultivating the business, I decided to sell the company for personal reasons. Matt Yernatich of Artistic Anglers of Duluth, MN purchased the company. However, Mr. Yernatich's other business pursuits required all his attention and Awesome Antlers was shelved. In recent times, I approached Mr. Yernatich and suggested resurrecting the company. Hence, Awesome Antlers has been reborn as Artistic Antlers.
I would like to welcome all customers to try our products. I personally guarantee your satisfaction. The old saying "the proof is in the pudding" is my motto. If any replica does not meet your expectations, let us know and we will fully refund your money. No questions asked.

I sincerely hope you will enjoy your Artistic Antlers.
